PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Started at RED in 2016
Jessica has had a passion for riding since she was about 7 years old, she showed and completed in the hunter/jumper/event circuits while growing up in Texas, Oregon, and California. While earning a degree on Psychology at CSUF in Riverside she found a passion for teaching lessons part time, and training starter jumpers. After graduating she spent 4 + year as a counselor for at-risk youth, and then left only to move herself back to Texas with the vision of working with horses again. Her journey has taken her from being a trail boss, to running lessons programs and summer camps, program directing and managing riding centers, until she found RED Arena. She received her PATH certification with REDs help and mentoring, and loves what she does every day! Jessica lives in south Austin with her husband and 2 dogs. She loves hiking, camping, traveling, and stand up paddle boarding, especially in the Texas heat!
The thing you love most about what you do for RED!
My favorite thing I love most about RED is watching my riders progress in strength, riding abilities, confidence! I also just love how much fun we have!

San Marcos Barn Manager & PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Hired as Horse Handler in 2019, PATH TRI certification in 2020
The week she moved back to Texas RED Arena opened our San Marcos location.  She lived nearby so she came in looking to get her PATH certification. Kendall loves the outdoors and traveling. If it involves hiking, camping, being on the river, or on the trail with her two horses Rev and Maggie she's all in.
The thing you love most about what you do for RED!
I love seeing the change that happens between a rider and the horse as they gain trust and confidence in each other through our sessions and the partnership that ensues.

Lorri French, PT, MS

Physical Therapist
2008 with RED, licensed PT since 1993
Lori is a mom of two beautiful kids as well as horses and dogs.
She says "
RED ARENA is truly unique in its approach to enabling kids with disabilities and empowering those kids and families. Plus is there any better way to spend your day, outside with friends and horses!"
She loves the outdoors, hiking, water skiing, sunset and sunrise at the beach and riding horses.
Her life mottos are:
"The question isn't who is going to let me;  it's who is going to stop me."

"If it doesn't challenge you it won't change you."
The thing you love most about what you do for RED!
One thing I love most about RED ARENA is that we are our mission statement, we empower individuals with disabilities, we do not limit anyone. RED forces on the strengths, abilities and POSSIBILITIES!

Samantha Camarillo, PTA
Picture
Physical Therapist Assistant
Affiliated since 2014. Licensed PTA 2016.
American Hippotherapy Association level 2 certified, 2021.

Sam grew up in Wimberley, Texas and has a western riding background. Once she was older she never thought she would have a chance to work with horses again. But
while getting her Bachelors in Pre-Physical Therapy at Texas State she found that horses movement could be incorporated into therapy treatment sessions. She researched RED Arena online and volunteered. She saw first hand the many amazing benefits of Equine Assisted Therapy and decided then that this was the work setting for her. She loves living the easy going country lifestyle with her husband, son and two French Bulldogs. She can often be found around local restaurants and the Blanco River.

The thing you love most about what you do for RED!
Making my Riders smile! I love to be goofy and fun with my riders to keep them at ease and engaged. I am always up for a good laugh!
